Rebar standards

Steel rebar standards vary from country to country. Each standard has a specific classification for the mechanical properties of steel. The iron smelting plant is a major producer of steel reinforced steel, the rebar manufactured by the plant is in accordance with the Russian standard.

According to the Russian standard, the steel produced is divided into three groups:

Steel A-1,

   This type of flat rebar has a yield of 2300 cm2 and tensile strength of 3800 cm2.

Steel A-2,

This type of ribbed rebar has a tolerance of 3000 cm2 and tensile strength of 5000 cm2.

Steel A-3,

This kind of ribbed rebar has a yield of 4000 cm2 and a tensile strength of 6000 cm2.

The reinforcements have different diameters depending on their standard type.

Russian rebar are produced to the diameter of 40 mm .
